A Little about Me

I am a 46-year old wife and mother of four wonderful daughters with two wonderful grandchildren. I am a graduate of Wayne State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and President of Golden Gate Services, Inc.. I operate my own accounting business (primarily during tax season) and I am the volunteer hall manager at Creek Center Banquet Hall, the Armada Knights of Columbus Hall. From this association, I now also do wedding planning and catering professionally at this location.

As for the genealogy part, I got started with my family history in 8th grade as a school assignment. I have been involved in genealogy ever since! I am a member of the New England Historical and Genealogical Society (as were several of my ancestors!) and the National Genealogical Society (N.G.S.), a former HOST for Genealogy Forum.com, which was the Genealogy Forum of America Online until August 15, 2003. I continue to serve as their webmaster. I am also list-manager for two surname discussion lists (DANFORTH-L and FISKE-L) and county coordinator of two USGenWeb County pages (Bristol and Providence, RI). I also sell PDF books of my FISKE and ADAMS ancestral research on eBay and hope to add DANFORTH, WARD and WARREN soon.

The current version of the FISKE family book contains 442 pages and the current ADAMS book contains 392 pages.
