Hopestill POTTER was married to Lydia PHINNEY (1695-6 Jan 1770) dau. of Jonathan and Joanna (KENNICUT / KINNICUTT). They had 7 children(?), Elizabeth (1714), Susannah(1715), Jemima, Simeon(1720), Lidia, Abigail(1726), Alethia(1732). Some of the children were born in Swansea, MA, I think others in Bristol, RI. What was his parentage, dates and places of birth, marriage and death. Also more info on his children and their spouses.

I am searching for more information on my ancestor, Squire READ, son of Samuel REED and Sibel BOWEN. Samuel REED was b. 28 Sep 1723 in Swansea, Bristol, MA to Stephen REED and Ann LUTHER. Samuel married 24 Oct 1745 in Swansea, Bristol, MA to Sibel BOWEN. Squire was born 18 Sep 1756 in Warren, Bristol, RI and married 23 Jul 1797 to Submit PRESTON, daughter of Wilson PRESTON and Susannah ALDRICH. Any information on these READ/REED families is appreciated. Also, where did Squire and Submit marry?? Thanks for any help!!

That town record also shows the birth of six children in Bristol -- Edward, John, Elizabeth, Abigail, Mary, and Benjamin. SMITH / THROOP / DUNBAR According to secondary sources Sarah SMITH daughter of Joseph(2)[Richard(1)] SMITH of Bristol married first Joseph THROOP in 1725 and second George DUNBAR in 1742. She is said to have died in 1786 but I find no record of any of this. Can someone help?

I am searching for any information on either or both of my grandparents. My grandmother's name is Rosemund SCOLARO, maiden neme CROWLEY. It is believed that her family was involved with the CROWLEY Shipyards. She was born in the early 1920's and raised in Bristol. My grandfather, also born in the 1920's, is Sicilian, though he was born in the states. His name is Frank SCOLARO and he met my grandmother in Bristol.
