BARBOZA, John and/or Antone. I was led to believe that my father (Antone) and my Uncle John were born in Fall River, MA. There are no records there. One relation told me that John may have been born in RI. They were born to Alfred and Irmalinda (Emily) BARBOZA. John was born 13 March 1908 and Antone was born 3 April 1909. Can anyone find my father and uncle? Thanks in advance for all and any help. Richard Barboza in Ft Lauderdale, FL rich3802@aol.com

BENOIT - I am researching the Pierre BENOIT and wife Scholastique MOMINEE. Aledgly, married in 1875 in Southbridge, MA. Scholastique's name written in many ways (Calestiques MONOMINE, Scholastique MONTIGMINY, DENOMINEE and MOMINEE). Trying to confirm which one is her correct name. Aledgly, Pierre and Scholastique resided in Woonsocket. Two of their children (Arthur b. 1892 and b. Alexia 1894) were located in the 1892 birth index for Woonsocket. The index did not give Scholastique's maiden name, parents, or place of birth. Other children: A son (Joseph BENOIT b.1876 or 1878) born in Worcester, MA (my grandfather). Other children, unknown. Can you tell me who their children are?

I am researching the Revolutionary War Soldier, Ichabod COLE (1748-1841), who married Roby COLE (1756-1825) in 1773. Their son, Benjamin COLE (1775-1837), married Martha SHAKLEFORD (1787-1864) and they moved to WV or Ohio some time around 1820. I am trying to find a connection between them and their son, Wilson C. COLE ((1815 in Ohio - 1845) who married Rebecca B. MCFARLAND (1818-1889). I can find no proof or location of Wilson or Benjamin's deaths. If anyone is connected to the above, I would love to hear from you and swap information. Gloria
