Prince ALLEN listed on 1800 Bristol, Bristol, RI census, single male. Same as Prince ALLEN listed on 1810 census (no image avail yet) in Dartmouth, Bristol, MA ???? Looking for father of Jane ALLEN b. abt 1810 prob in Bristol, MA. She married George MANDELL. 1850 Bristol MA census lists George MANDELL age 57, wife - Jane MANDELL age 39(?) - this could be misinterpreted, and might be age 59 - which would put her born abt 1791 not abt 1810. A son is also listed age 31, which indicates either Jane was not his mother (if 39) or her age should be re- interpreted as 59. However there is a large gap between eldest childs birth and next child listed age 18, giving credence to Jane being 39 and a second wife to George MANDELL. Also researching Prince ALLEN d. 1778 in Dartmouth, Bristsol, MA - possible father or sister of Jane ALLEN depending on her birth date. Thank you for any assistance.

Greetings all. I am seeking direct descendant males of the IRONS family who are willing to have a DNA test in order to prove or disprove a relationship between the Rhode Island IRONS line and the New Jersey IRONS line. Up until now, there has been much speculation that these two branches of the IRONS family are related, however there is no documented proof. Now with a Y-Chromosome DNA test, we can find out. For more information, please visit the project webpage: http://www.discoveryvision.com/doug/genealogy/Irons/Irons_Family_DNA_Project.htm

Can anyone give me information on the family of Obadiah B. SPENCER who is buried in the East Greenwich village cemetery. A Edward SPENCER is also buried in this plot with his wife who was a cousin of mine. Would like to find out the relationship of Obadiah and Edward. Because of the dates Obadiah cannot be Edward's father. Perhaps grandfather?
