Some time after 1918 a Florence HARRINGTON ran a Girl School in RI. I don't know the name of the school or which town she was in. I know that she was successful. I don't know when she died and have been searching for any records at all about her. One family member thought she was born in Vermont but it may not have been. Her maiden name was VAN_SPOONER. I know that she had at least 3 children that lived with their dad in Connecticut. I don't know if she had any children that went with her.

Married about 1906 to Roy Alexander FLOWERS. 1910 census listed them in Bristol on Hope St. The 1920 census listed them in Riverside on Smith St. with two of her brothers? Benjamin and Maurice. I'm looking for info on Elizabeth. Thank you.

Dear Helper, Please try to find the parents and wife of Abel SHERMAN b. 16 Feb 1755 in Rhode Island who d. 25 Aug 1822 in Mason Co. VA. He was in the 1820 census in VA. He is my great-great-great-great grandfather. We have some of his descendants but not his ancestors who would be my ancestors too. I looked on the site, but could not find him. Sincerely, Kathlyn Watters of East Liverpool, OH cj7700@raex.com

I am trying a first time genealogy check of my grandfather, George Thomas HARGREAVES, who lived in RI at the start of the 20th century. He may have died sometime in 1932 or 33. My father, David Walter HARGREAVES, was born in 1897, and died 1969. I was born in 1932 in the Lying-in Hospital in Providence. At the time of my birth, we were living on Colfax St. Prov. If anyone can give me more info on my grandfather, it would be appreciated.
