SNOW, Rebeckah b. Oct 1, 1793 Providence, RI Family likely moved to Saratoga Co - Montgomery Co Ny area 1795-1810. May 30, 1815 at Broadalbin, Montgomery Co NY. she married Thomas Force PALMER (1787-1865) They lived in Genesse, Wyoming, Conewango Counties, NY & moved to Medina Co. OH circa 1835, to IN briefly and by abt 1837 were at Sugar Grove, IL. until 1852 when they moved to LaSalle Co. IL where their two sons were. Rebeckah SNOW PALMER died there Oct 27, 1854. Spelling of her name Rebeckah, and dates are from her Illinois grave stone. Some other documents spell her name Rebecca. We know great deal of tfp ancestors; nothing of hers. Questions: 1790 Federal Census, RI, Providence, lists ten SNOW head of households: pg. 33 William; pg 34 Josiah; pg 35 Samuel; Pg. 36 Sarah, Daniel, James,James, Joseph, Joseph, pg 38 Zebadiah. (pg. nos. refer to reprint book). Has anyone worked on these individuals? Are any known to have daughter Rebeckah? To have moved about this time to Saratoga NY or vicinity? Names of spouses or parents of these ten? If I can eliminate some of these ten that will help. Which ones were still in RI census 1800 & 1810? (as opposed to departed & possibly in NY) 1810 NY census shows Joseph Snow, Broadalbin , Montg. Co NY!!! 1m & 1f over 45, 2m & 1f 16-26. My Rebeckah would fit the 16-26 age of this female. Was one of the 16-26 males Samuel Snow? What were names of mother & children in this family? 1820 Census Genesse Co. NY, Thomas F. Palmer is living next to Samuel Snow!!! Would seem almost certain he is related to wife of TFP, Rebeckah. Father? Son? Thomas & Rebeckah's 1st son, born Apr 29, 1819 Warsaw, Wyoming Co. NY was named Joseph Snow Palmer. Could one of the two Joseph's in 1790 census be Rebeckah'S father?
