Adelard CHAMPAGNE of Woonsocket,RI died in 1945. I am trying to locate his two sons Gerard and Ernest who were probably born around 1916- 1920, both were in air force during WW2.Also if they had any children.

JOHNSON , HARDY : Would like information on Waty JOHNSON , unknown date of birth, probably about 1812. She married Charles Franklin HARDY (born in 1807 in Waltham, Massachusetts) at Pawtucket, RI, year unknown. They had 10 children, with the third being being born in RI in 1834. The rest were born between there and Minnesota. Waty (possibly Waity) is listed in censuses as being born in RI. She and her husband lived in Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa. She died at Charles City, Iowa in 1895 and is buried near there. Waty & Charles are my 3rd great grandparents. Appreciate any information I can get. Thank you. 14 July 1998. Terry B. CRUFF, Sterry J. Born in Burriville, RI about 1818, died 8/1/1880 age 62 in Thompson, CT. Listed as G.A.R. Sons: Sterry Hervey CRUFF d. 12/22/1902 Age 60 & Elmer J. CRUFF d.? Parents could be Aretmus CRUFF who married Anna TEFFT. Aretumus was the son of Samuel CRUFF according to his will dated 26 March 1790. Samuel was the son of Samuel & Abigail SPRAGUE CRUFF according to his will dated 23 April 1776. Other CRUFF's Listed as being born in Burriville, Amasa, Eliza S. possible brother/sister of Sterry.

BROWN / COOKE / HOPKINS/ Seeking active researchers on descendants of Fleet BROWN b 17 Jul 1746 Scituate, Providence, RI. He was the son of Thomas BROWN Sr and Elcy __?__ Thomas was b Northumberland, Eng, GB Feet m 1st 11 Apr 1787 Elizabeth COOKE and 2nd 6 Apr 1780 Mercy HOPKINS dau of Oliver HOPKINS. Fleet appeared in the first census, 1790 in Foster Town, Providence County. He was listed with 2 Males 16 and over and two females. Oliver HOPKINS was a neighbor as was a Holly (male) HOPKINS. He appeared in at least the 1800 census as well. Have siblings and migratory patterns for some of his brothers. Thomas Sr and Thomas Jr were both Revolutionary War soldiers, I do not know if Fleet had service, he also had a brother Job but I know not of his life. Also Joseph moved to Quebec, returning to Plattsburg, NY during the War of 1812 then going to Erie County NY and then on to Oxford Co, Ontario. Will be glad to share all I have. Jim

Looking for information about Salvatore, Mercurio, and Augustino DAMORE; three brothers who came from Sicily in the 1890's and lived in the city of Providence. Salvatore died in Providence in the 1950's. Mercuio supposedly moved to New York.

I am looking for any information on William R ALLEN b April 1862 and Katherine CURRAN b July 1860. On the 1900 Census his birthplace is listed as Connecticut and hers is Ireland. Children listed are Mary Margaret ALLEN born April 25 1889 married Nov 12 1913 to Alferrie Salvatore DIGRADO, Died August 1975. William R ALLEN Jr b Feb 1888, Mary E ALLEN born April 1894, Albert H ALLEN born Dec 30, 1890, Christopher J ALLEN born August 1899. Both Christopher and Albert died very young. I know they lived in Providence area for most of their lives. Both William and Katherine are believed to be buried in the area. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Living in Florida it is hard to find much on Rhode Island.

SHEA, Margaret J. born March 07, 1887 River John, Pictou County, Nova Scotia, the daughter of George and Elizabeth SHEA. She married Frank FISK and lived in Providence, Rhode Island. Mrs. FISK died in RI Bef. February 1958 as noted in her father's obituary.
