Mary Ann (?KEYLOR) DONOVAN b 1827 d. 1900 Obit from 9/12/1900: Janesville Wisconsin "Laid Low By Death's Hand" Mrs. Mary Ann DONOVAN, aged 76, wife of the late Jeremiah DONOVAN ( b. 1827 d. 1882) passed away at her home at 256 S. River St. last evening at 10 o'clock. Heart disease and dropsy were the cause of her death. She was born in Manchester, England, in 1824, and came to this country in 1872, and resided in Providence, RI for 4 years, coming to this city in 1876, Any information you may have on this family would be appreciated. I do not know if they were married in England or USA I know that they did not file immigration papers in Wisconsin

Searching for information about Susannah H. MATHEWSON. She was born October 30, 1785. She married Stephen BAKER (A Quaker) and one of their children (Edia BAKER) was born at Burrillville, Providence County, Rhode Island about 1814 according to his death certificate. It appears that Stephen BAKER was from this area of Rhode Island and then removed to Vermont by 1820. I also am looking for information about Stephen's parents. I know their names were Stephen & Deborah BAKER but little else. Finally, I am interested to know where to obtain Quaker records for this area of Rhode Island. Thank-you.

Looking for a George HALL who supposedly resided in Newport, RI, in or around 1638. He is reported to be at Narragansett Bay with the Roger Williams colony. George was a blacksmith, had a wife, seven sons and one girl and located at Newport, RI. One of his sons was a Caleb HALL. Caleb had a son Johna (Joshua) who was a mechanic. Johna/Joshua had children: Joshua, George, Abigill, and Alsey.

Looking for the husband and/or parents of Deborah ALLEN. Born when? where? She had a son Dexter Byron ALLEN, born in Pawtucket or North Providence, RI. Feb. 1822. No father's name listed. Dexter, married Roxanna L. (possibly Roxanna Lena BRAGG, of Alexander and Sophia BRAGG). Roxanna was either born or from Strafford Vermont. They married about 1850. His age, about 28, her's 18.Their 1st born son, Eugene Francis ALLEN was born in 1851. They are known to have lived somewhere in the Johnston area, and later at 135 Pleasent St. in Pawtucket.

I am searching for someone who can help me trace down the origin of the name LANCTOT in the Woonsocket, Pawtucket and Manville areas. The first LANCTOT I have is Joseph L. LANCTOT married to Olivene MORIN. He died in Albion, RI in 1944 but most of his descendants were born or married in Woonsocket. He had a second wife named Angelina ROY. I do not have dates but estimate the time period as 1877-1900. Any help would be appreciated.

I am looking for information on Reuben BROWN, my 3 great grandfather. The information i have is that he was born in Johnston, RI in 1749 or thereabouts. He married Mary BROWN (don't know whether or not this was her maiden name also) b. 1753. They moved to Shrewsbury,VT.. Reuben died 9/22/1808 and is buried in Shrewsbury, VT. Mary died 7/30/1813 and is also buried in Shrewsbury. Reuben served in the the military with Sherburne's regiment, continental troops 1778-1780. I have a copy of his last will and testament and an inventory of his possessions at the time of his passing. Their son Pardon BROWN is my 2 great grandfather.
