ROI, ROY posted by Ken Roy on Sunday, January 10, 1999

Michel and Emilie ROI (ROY) were married in Quebec and moved to Rhode Island from a brief stay in Connecticut around 1856. The RI 1865 state census lists Emilie (age 53), Philomen (age 18), Louis (age 15) and Toussaint (age 13 and my gg grandfather), all of whom were born in Quebec. Brother George was born in Connecticut (age 11). Town is listed as Cumberland in census. Husband Michel does not appear in census and assume he either died or returned to Canada. I am looking for date and location of deaths for all family members and location. I believe most were in Providence County (Cumberland or Woonsocket?). Any help would be most appreciated.
