MONAHAN Edmund Francis and CARTY Bridget. Residing on Pine Street in Central Falls, Providence County, in 1920 per 1920 Census Index. Eight children of whom seven survived, Winifred, Elinor, Anna, Margaret, Edmund Jr., Gilbert, Maurice. Margaret married a William TOOLE. Edmund MONAHAN born in Ireland about 1866 and naturalized in 1885. Bridget CARTY born Arctic, Rhode Island about 1864. Any helpful leads would be appreciate.

Looking for any information oncerning Abraham Borden (or Burden) RATHBUN, who married Deborah COOK(E). She was born 6 Jun 1767, and died 16 May 1795. She is buried in Friends Burying Ground, Hopkinton. I would like to know his ancestry (or at least dates of birth/death), and whether or not they had children.

Seeking ancestors of my gg grandparents Matilda ALDRICH (1793-1874) and Stephen POTTER (1789-1875) married 10 March 1811 in Scituate>Foster, Providence Co, RI. Stephen was an apprentice stone mason in Providence. He and Matilda emmigrated to Tioga County, PA about 1817.

Jeremiah JENCKES B. 11-29-1739 married Lucy WHIPPLE
Asa JENCKES B. 12-21-1741
Mary JENCKES B. 3-22-1743/44 married Nicholas PULLEN
I saw somewhere that Jeremiah was a child of Jonathan JENCKES and Hannah PULLEN, but I'm trying to verify that. Seems Jeremiah eventually went to Newport Town, N.H. Don't know what happened to Asa. Mary JENCKES married Nicholas PULLEN 10-14-1764 in Smithfield, RI. Any info. is appreciated greatly.

Re: SMITH, Martin I am interested in all information concerning Martin SMITH, born in R.I. in 1800. He had three sons; Edward (1825), Charles B. (1845), and Martin (1845), all born in R.I. He may have had other children as well. The elder Martin is my great-great-great-great grandfather (through Edward). The 1860 census shows him living with a Phebe, born in 1814, and Elizabeth, born in 1812. I don't know if they were sisters or if one of them may have been his wife. I would like to know his parents names, the names of other children he may have had (1830 showed 9 in the household and 1840 had 12!!), the names of his spouse (or spouses) and grandparents, if possible. Looking for information on William BAGLEY he married Hannah THURBER from Rehoboth Mass. There were other Williams in the family William Valentine BAGLEY also William N. BAGLEY (he married Cerinda TABOR of Seekonk). The 1850 cnsus mentions a William Jr., Mary J.(Jane), Amelia, Ellenor, Stephen,Lucy and Sarah Rial. also names in the family history are Henry BAGLEY and Charles Frederick. The familys lived mostly in North Providence and in Pawtuket Valley Falls and Ashton They were mainly Blacksmiths by trade and was passed down through the family. Also known is that they traveled by sea as there is a birth at sea and a birth listed to England. I have been trying to locate others in Rhode Island whom, might share the same relation. First Generation James L. PIERCE was born 20 Jul 1823 in MA or ME. He married Alvira BRAYMAN about 1841. Alvira was born in RI about 1823. James L. PIERCE and Alvira BRAYMAN had the following child: i. Marcus Morton PIERCE was born 19 Sep 1842. Second Generation Marcus Morton PIERCE (James L.) was born in Woonsocket, Providence Co., RI September 19, 1842. Marcus died December 6, 1882 in Liberty Twp., Valley Co., NE, at 40 years of age. According to the 1850 census for Providence he was in Cumberland in 1850. He married (1) HALLOWELL, Amanda M. in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA, about 1865. Amanda was born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA April 1849. She was the daughter of HALLOWELL, Rifford R. (Quaker, s/o Joseph) and MEIRIO, Amanda. Amanda died September 13, 1873 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia Co., PA. Marcus served in the military during the Civil War [G.A.R.] - Co. E 109 NY Infantry. He enlisted August 9, 1862 . He was a Corporal. He was discharged June 4, 1865 PIERCE, Marcus Morton and HALLOWELL, Amanda M. had the following child: i. Lillian Amanda PIERCE was born in Bridesburg, Philadelphia Co., PA August 17, 1867. Marcus Morton Pierce died in Valley Co., NE 6 Dec 1882.
