Seeking information on MCGOWAN family from Pawketuck / Pawtucket, Rhode Island. At least three brothers: Andy, Mike and Pat all born aprox. 1840-1860: each married, each had a daughter named "Kate." Immigrated during the famine.

Looking for information on Joseph Wakefield HARDY, born in Mansfield England in 1863, married Ellen HUDSON, also of Mansfield, 2nd Feburary 1885 in Johnston, Rhode Island. They had a son, Ernest Edward HARDY who married Clara DRAPER of Providence, R.I. He was born 19th October 1887.Clara was the daughter of William Henry DRAPER and Emma FINGLETON of Rhode Island.

ALLSEBROOK, Thomas born Apr. 1847 in Nottingham, England died July 1892 in Providence, Rhode Island. Survivors at his death included; wife, Jane Marshall ALLSEBROOK, brother John ALLSEBROOK, daus. Ellen, Eliza, Hannah, Sarah, Mabel, Florence, Francis, Hilda, Alice. Thomas was the son of John and Clementia ALLSEBROOK. I would really like to find an obit on this man and more about him. Came to America in 1884 , ship unknown, location said to be Providence, yet unknown. He was said to own or operate a manufacturing plant of women's hosiery. Would like to know more about his estate.

Looking for information on John (Jake) WHYTE and Jeanie WHYTE (HUNTER) who migrated from Scotland to the Pawtucket / Central Falls area sometime between 1890 and 1910. Jeanie was born in Scotland in 1864 and died in Pawtucket in 1932. John and Jeanie had two children - Margaret and James (Jim).
