I am looking for information regarding my great-great grandparents and other relatives. We have a Native American background but no one, that being Aunt's, Uncle's and other surviving relatives really know what tribe and/or clan we come from. At one point, we were told Narragansett, but we're not on the register. The names to be searched are: Mertice Louise CROSS (CRUM - married name) and her twin brother Walter Hilton CROSS. Born 12-14-1893. Also searching for Samuel Irving CRUM (CRUMB), the husband of Mertice Louise CROSS, born 03-07- 1890., died 08-03-1944. My Indian heritage is a must for my children and grand-children.

John WESTCOTT was b. 10/6/1786, in Scituate, Providence, RI. He had 11 children, among them three sons, Hiram, Davis, and John. My GGGrandfather's name was John (b. 1810), and he, too, had three sons with the same names. This can't just be coincidence! I suspect one of John's sisters, Sarah or Dorcas or Mercy, married a WESTCOTT, and named her kids as her brother had. But Rebecca Brown's Stukely pages, and the LDS show nothing more than their names. Can anyone provide me with more info on these three women? John6, Daniel5, Samuel4, Benj.3, Jeremiah2, Stukely1.
