My GG grandfather James CASEY (also spelled CASSIE, CASSEY) married Jane WEIR in Mearns, Renfrew, Scotland on 1 Feb 1853. They had five children: John (my Gt grandfather), Margaret, Alexander, James, and Robert. They settled in Pawtucket sometime after 1870. I'm searching for the ancestors of James CASEY and Jane WEIR; also for information about their children.

CARROLL Ephraim birth about 1816 marriage 5 May 1841 in Killingly, CT. record states he was from Smihfield, RI. Wife Sarah Ann CHASE from Killingly. Children Asa, Sarah, Elizabeth, David, and Elmer. Found Asa and Sarah on 2 different census, one says they were born in RI, the other CT. The last 3 were born in Killingly. Have written to Smithfield no vital of marriage or in Killingly. Wrote to RI Archives no record of birth. 1840 census has Ephraim, Sarah and Asa in Glouster, RI. Ephraim died 26 Jul 1880 in Killingly. Was this man born in RI?

I am looking for the ancestry of George Henry HARRIS b.25 Sept 1825, Providence RI, supposedly his parents were William Henry HARRIS and Eliza FULLER. Eliza FULLER was the dau of Capt Joseph FULLER and Lucy POTTER. William HARRIS also had a sister Lavinia who married William BELLOWS. George H HARRIS married Elizabeth M RIDEOUT and had 2 children in Boston MA and removed to Plymouth NH.

Seeking information on the family of Ebenezer NORTHUP, b. December 25, 1774, prob. at North Kingston, RI. My information has him married to Polly LYON. He appears in the Census of 1800 at North Kingston with a family consisting of a male 16-26, a female 16-26, and a female under ten. He again appears in the Census of 1810 at North Kingston with a family consisting of a male 26-45, a female 26-45, a female 10-16, one female and two males under ten. I have seen an Ebenezer NORTHUP at Smithfield, RI, in the 1840, 1860, & 1870 Census indices. This is my 5th great grandfather and the names of his children are: George Washington, Eliza P., Joseph C., Maria S., Sally A., and Stephen W. NORTHUP. My ancestor is George W. who first married in Tolland, CT, to Sally STIMSON on November 24, 1831. He was a physician and moved to Richford, Tioga Co., NY. I would appreciate any information on Ebenezer and Polly NORTHUP.

Last known in 1920 census, when she lived Esmond Village, Smithfield, Providence County, with daughter Rose COONEY and Rose's two sons, Martin and Morris/Maurice; and Bertha WHITEHOUSE TOBIN, divorced wife of Elizabeth's son William TOBIN. Elizabeth was born in Ireland, 1840, daughter of Patrick and Rose SAVAGE, and was the widow of Richard TOBIN, who died in 1903.
