Greetings to anybody who may be able to help me. I'm in desperate need of assistance. I am looking for the parents, grandparents, siblings, etc. of a William YOUNG (1789-1871), who was born in Lippit's Factory (6 miles from Providence) Rhode Island. William worked for 16 years in a cotton factory there , owned by a Mr. Sprague. Around 1811, William YOUNG married Dorcas SMITH and, in 1825, moved his family to Stock Twp., in what is now Noble County, Ohio, moving again a few miles to Sarahsville, Ohio in the 1850s. Some of his children were: William J. (1815-1882), Henry J. (1819-1890), Robert (1825-1868), Thomas J. (1813-1885), Mary (1818-1909), George H. (1836-1863, Civil War), John Q. A. (1831-aft. 1904 Brooklyn), Celia (1811-1888), and Amy Ann (1832-bef. 1887). William YOUNG was my gggg-grandfather and his son, Robert, was my ggg-grandfather. All I know about the YOUNG family is that William's family came from Scotland before the Revolutionary War. I am trying to find out more about my pre-1789 YOUNG family and would love to communicate with anybody who can help me. Thank you. Charles Justice
