I am seeking any information that might exist on Clarissa Danfor(th) WILMARTH DUDLEY, born 1819 in Chepachet, RI, daughter of Thankful WILMARTH, father unknown. Her mother, Thankful and aunt Miranda were twins, born 1799 or 1800 and both died within months of each other between Nov. 1822 and January 1823. I am seeking information on who raised her, if she is included in the 1830 census (as living with whom?) and any information on that era in that part of RI. Were there any known "plagues" that were infecting people there in 1822? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I am looking for any genealogical information on Ethan A. BALLOU (dob: 5-3-1813) and his wife Mahala (LATHAM) BALLOU (dob: 1-30- 1818). Seems as though Ethan's mother was Asenath (maiden name unknown) and his father was either Jesse or Jerry BALLOU. The family came from Foster, RI.

Ethan SIMS BROWN (dob: 6-18-37) married Mercy Ann (BALLOU) BROWN (dob: 3-27-1938) on Dec. 11, 1860 in Claremont, New Hampshire. They had several children: Ida F. BROWN (1861-1879), George Elliot BROWN (1866- ), Frederick Allen BROWN (1870 - ), and William Arnold BROWN (1871 - 1956). Any information about George or Frederick would be appreciated. (Example: their wives, their dates of death, place of death.) Please note that after the Civil War, Ethan and Mercy returned to Rhode Island (where they both were born) and settled down with their children in the Smithfield area.

I am seeking information on Stephen ALDRICH who was born Aug 15, 1725. His birth was recorded in Providence, RI. He was the son of Peter and Priscilla ALDRICH (ALDRIDGE). He had at least one son named Samuel who was born about 1750. Family history says that Stephen ALDRICH was a judge, Can anyone tell me if there is any record of a Judge Stephen ALDRICH in the area. Several of his brothers lived in the Smithfield area. I suspect that is where he lived and died. Thank you for any assistance.

HI I have traced my dads mothers family LELACHEUR to Providence Rhode Island in the 1880 census. William was born in Ireland 1821, his wife Jessie born 1825 Nova Scotia and son William born in Nova Scotia 1858. I can't find other kids, Marion, Beatrice and Jessie Christine. Can anyone help? HUTCHINSON in Smithfield, Providence County. My ggggrandfather James W. HUTCHINSON said he was born in RI about 1777 and his wife Loraina Unknown was born there in 1878. Both wound up in Cayuga County New York. Also a possible son of theirs named Edwin HUTCHINSON who also went to Cayuga County and said he was born in RI.
