I have a couple that was born in Quebec but FamilySearch (LDS) has a record that Francois CADORET (CADORETTE) and Julie ROBIDOUX were married in Woonsocket 25 Aug 1871; however, it seems they had and raised their kids in Canada. Julie died before 1906 as Francois married twice after her death. (He was widowed twice according to someone that has access to St. Germain records.) I know that ROBIDOUX folk had migrated to RI and have wondered if Julie was living there, married in RI and went back to Canada to live with her husband and raise their family. Do you know of anyone with access to the marriage records for Woonsocket? I need to verify the record and secure their parents' names. I am in Jacksonville, FL waiting to see what we will get from Wilma. All these storms make me want to crawl under my bed and stay. Thanks for any info. GFox

I am looking for information about Andrew BOUCSEIN born abt 1859 in NY. He and wife Augusta Dissel Boucsein must have lived in Rhode Island in May of 1886 as their Daughter Lillian Boucsein was noted in later censuses as having been born there. In addition, a 1887 listing in the Providence directory lists Andrew Boucsein as a clerk. I have been unable to find information about Andrew's death which must have occurred between 1885 (Lillians conception) and 1889 (when Augusta was found remarried in Ohio). I am thinking he might have died while living in Rhode Island. I would also like to try to find Lillian's birth certificate/information. This last name is typically misspelled which makes most indices very hard if not impossible to use effectively. Alternate spellings (I've found 13 variations so far), usually a result of poor penmanship and subsequent transcriptions, include BOURSEIN, BONCSEIN, BONESEIN, BOUESEIN and BOSESEIN. Andrews death certificate and Lillians birth certificate would be ideal, however any leads to further my investigations would be most appreciated.
