We are working on a Bowdish skiff from circa 1890 and a tag on it said it was distributed by agents WHITTEN - GODDING of Providence RI. Is anyone familiar with the Co. and the names? Were these boatbuilders too? Thanks for any information.

Please, I would like to have some help with some information on this Cemetery, my great grandparents are buried there. They died in the late 1920's, I have found some information and was wondering if anyone has any more details of when the cemetery was moved from Central Falls to Pawtucket. I found out it was in 1938. Was this before, during or after the Great 1938 Hurricane. My Great Grandparents names are Godfrey and Celina BELFORD, Godfrey was buried in 1928 and Celina was buried in 1929. I appreciate any help in this matter. This note was in a breif description of the cemetery. The Cemetery is Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.

I am searching for Soliman (Soloman) and Mary Ellis REYNOLDS. I believe they were in the Providence area when their son Abel T. REYNOLDS was born in 1820. He married Fanny M. GORTON in Friendship, NY in 1845.

Seeking information on Ruth FISHER born 22 Sept 1901, I believe in NY and died October 1986. She was the daughter of Ross John FISHER and his wife Grace (maiden name unknown). I believe Ross and Grace were from Friendship, Allegany County, NY. Aparently Ruth never got married and her last residence was North Scituate, Providence, RI. I do have some pictures of Ross and Ruth, possibly Grace. Ross was my Grandmother's brother. If someone can tell me anything about this woman I would very much appreciate it. Specifically I would like to find out her Mother Grace's maiden name.

Name - MCFADYEN, David Dates - Apr 1853 to 04 Dec 1916 Wife - MCFADYEN, Jane/Jeannie I know when he died, where he died, and how he died. I just can't find the grave plot in Walnut Hill Cemetery in Pawtucket. Does anyone have any tips on searching this area? According to my grandmother, the stone was still there in the 1950/60s, but she can't remember exactly where they are.
