RAND: I am looking for any info on Rueben Elias RAND born 27 Feb 1885 married Jenny YORK born 12 Aug 1895. Rueben's parents were Leander RAND born 1861 in Nova Scotia Canada, & Abigail FALES born 1861? also born in Nova Scotia. They were supposed to have resided in Summit, Providence RI.

Hello During my search I found Franklin Daniel SHAW who married Minnie NOBLE give birth to a daughter Marion Rachel SHAW who died in Cranston Rhode Island born June 31, 1902 died Aug 14, 1903 in Howard RI Franklin born PEI Canada - not sure about Minnie immigrated to USA RI, 1896 &- before 1902. We know another daughter is born named Helen SHAW - and I just found on Rootsweb Rhode Island Newport - a Helen Miriam SHAW .............1917. From newspaper clipping in family Bible with no date ...its says Minnie died in Houlton Maine. Seeking any info and help I can get from my American relations.
Did Helen get married and have children? Is she in RI or Maine? Where are her parents buried and when did they die and were other chlidren born? thanks again Sherri Smith

MCLEAN Looking for descendants of Hugh and Ann MCLEAN who were from the East River area of Pictou, Nova Scotia. In 1919 a descendent was living in the Providence area. Two other sons were James Donley MCLEAN and Daniel Alexander MCLEAN who were living in the Pittsburgh area in 1919. I have no other information on the descendant that was in the Providence area.

MORAN I am researching William MORAN who was in Providence, RI in 1876. His father was Hugh MORAN and mother Elizabeth. He came from Ireland. William was married in Saint Joseph's Church on Hope St.in Providence. It was his second marriage. His bride was Bridget CONWAY, who had come from Ireland and was living in Providence, RI. I believed he might have been in the Civil War, and I sent for the file of a William MORAN, thinking this might be my husband's ancestor. It turned out to be a different William MORAN. If you are researching the same name, and think this might be your ancestor, please contact me.

PARADIS Philippe Try to find the place of marriage of Philippe PARADIS and Marie-Aurée ELLIOTT on May 19, 1919. They where married at Sacred Heart Church but the name of the city/state is a non-sense. She was born November 1, 1884. Her parents were Dolphis or Adolphe or Delphis ELLIOTT and Metaïde BOURASSA. A brother Wilbrod ELLIOTT in 1911 and a sister Eugenie ELLIOTT in 1913 got married at St Joseph Church in Lowell Mass.
